The base camps will be utilized by 32 national squads to stay and prepare before and throughout the World Cup competition. On 31 January 2014, FIFA reported the base camps for each one taking an interest team,[21] having prior circled a handout of 84 prospective locations.[23] Only five teams have selected to stay in the northern area of Brazil.
