Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiiyaan' Movie Release Date Confirmed for 23 May Kamal Haasan to Attend Cannes Film Festival

There will be no more delays in "Kochadaiiyaan" ("Vikramasimha" in Telugu) release and the film is affirmed to hit the screens on 23 May.

The Rajinikanth starrer was slated to hit theaters on 9 May, however the producers Eros International published the postponement in release just two days preceding its real release date. The makers uncovered that the film's release was pushed because of some specialized snags.

The makers also said that the film's post processing work is finished and it has been censored in every one of the six Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri. The Rajinikanth starrer will be hitting screens in both 2d and 3d versions worldwide on 23 May.

Kamal Haasan at Cannes Film Festival 

Kamal Haasan will be at the Cannes Film Festival, France, this year. The performer, who is the executive of the FICCI Media and Entertainment Committee – South, will lead the authority Indian assignment to Cannes and will initiate the Indian Pavilion section in this year's film festival, which kicks off on 14 May.
