American Apparel Has A 62-Year-Old Lingerie Model

American Apparel is known for its sketchy promoting.

Presently, the brand has emphasized a 62-year-old demonstrating undergarments.

"Attractive has no lapse date," the organization composes in a Facebook post presenting the model, Jackie O'shaughnessy.


O'shaughnessy's has showed up in the organization's ads in the recent past, however never in underwear, reports Alyssa Vingan at Fashionista.

The model told Fashionista a year ago that she was scouted by the retailer while hanging out in the West Village of Manhattan:

"I discovered a spot on the stoop and sat there smoking in my puffy winter layer and a lady strolled by and said, 'You look so lofty sitting there smoking that cigarette.' I said, 'Well, I don't think most individuals might concur with you nowadays.' And she replied, 'It's not the smoke. You're simply delightful,'" O'shaughnessy said.

She had never displayed previously, yet eagerly acknowledged an offer to work for American Apparel.
